I am a little mad at the human

So I just found out the human spent the night at a hotel without me and Nora.  The human said I should not be upset because she just slept on the floor of her friend's room, and she went to bed rather late because she went to a really good concert on Saturday night.   The name of the band was The Heather Dale band, and the human has been listening to them a lot since Saturday.
The concert was part of a science fiction and fantasy convention the human attended with her friend's Judith and Lisa.  I did get to visit the convention on Friday night and briefly saw one of the rooms.  Nora and I got to wear our pirate outfits and ride around in our stroller.  I was Captain Jack Sparrow and Nora was beautiful pirate Lady Killigrew.  We were very popular and people gave us lots of compliments, chin scratches and pats on the head.  We visited the human's friend Lisa's room.  Lisa was working on a costume for the convention.  I jumped out of the stroller and hopped up on the bed, and the human promptly put me back in the stroller.  I was trying to check out the fluffiness of the pillows, but the human was laughing and saying I was getting hair on Lisa's costume.  We also got to listen to the human's friend Judith read a story about grumpy vampires. It was very funny and some nice lady smiled at Nora and I the whole time during the reading.
Well, I cannot be made at the human for too long.  She said we will stay in the hotel next year during the convention with her friend Judith.  Judith realizes the importance of my job as a hotel blogger.  I must test the fluffiness of the pillows and the windows and how great the view is.  See you down the road.

No Trips For A Few Weeks

So the human just informed me that we are not taking any trips for a few weeks.  I am bummed.  I just started my travel blog and now I do not have anything to write about for a few weeks.  So here is what you have to look forward to in May.
Nora and I are going to the Average Joe Cat show in Shoreline,  WA.  I will be showing at this show because it is a fun show for Purrfect Pals cat shelter.  They have fun categories like longest whiskers and best tuxedo.
After the Average Joe show, Nora and I are going to Denver, Colorado.  We will be visiting Orthopets where Nora might be getting a new foot.  She is missing her back right foot, but she doesn't let that slow her down.  We are also going to visit the human's friend Nora.  The week after that we are going to a local TICA show in Tukwila, WA.  The human is not going to show Nora, but she will be there to help out the shelter and have fun.
I will keep you posted of my adventures.  See you down the road.
Here is a link to both of the shows in case you and your humans would like to attend.

Great Stay at the La Quinta in Lacey, WA

Good Morning.
We sure had an exciting weekend.  We went to Lacey for an ACFA (American Cat Fanciers Association) cat show.  This is different than the group we normally go to shows with TICA (The International Cat Association).
Before, I tell you about how great the hotel was I must tell you about our trip to the show.  We had a very relaxing trip to the show.  We took the bus.  At first, I was confused because we caught the bus at the airport, I thought maybe we were getting on plane but instead we got on a bus.  The bus was comfortable, and we got to look out the window the whole way to Lacey.  When we got to the show hall, they were also having Norway days at the fair grounds.  There were lots of Norwegian Elkhounds running around and people in very nice dresses and a viking ship in the parking lot.  I thought maybe my human got confused, and we went to the wrong place.  The cat show hall was behind the Norway festival.  Fun.
Nora did really well at the show.  She always does.  She is very pretty and likes to show off.  I napped in my hammock through most of the show waking up occasionally to hear Nora's report of how much fun she was having.
Okay now on to the hotel review.
We stayed at the La Quinta in Lacey.  When we first walked in the lobby, there was this really great smell.  My human got all excited because they had fresh baked cookies in the lobby.  The lady checking us in was very friendly.  The human had to sign a form that we would not destroy the hotel room.  She doesn't know I write a travel blog.  I would not destroy a hotel room.  I was getting a little impatient waiting for the human and the nice lady behind the counter to stop talking and eating cookies. I really wanted to check out the room.  Well, we finally made it to our room.  Oh and it was worth the wait.
The first big plus about this room, the window.
The ledge was very wide, and there was a beautiful view of trees and birds.
The second big plus, two beds.  I love rooms with two beds.  I love to hop from bed to bed or use the convenient night stand in the middle as a bridge.
Well, we got all settled in the room.  The human commented there was lots of room for her luggage and our cat stuff.  The human went and got dinner which I am happy to report was just across the street.  I like hotels with lots of restaurant close by, so the human is not gone long.  The human likes it because she can walk.  We ate a very nice dinner together, watched cable.  The human went to relax in the hot tub for a little bit and then we settled in for bed.  I spent the evening sleeping in the window,  sleeping on the beds and snuggling with Nora.
In the morning, the human went downstairs for the free breakfast.  She always likes it when there is free breakfast.  She said this one even had really yummy omelets you could heat in the microwave.   Okay here comes my only complaint about this hotel.  You could not climb under the bed.  The human liked this because it was easy to get us in our carrier and off to the show.  I on the other hand like the frenetic running around of the human trying to move the bed, so she can get us in our carrier.
So I give the La Quinta in Lacey, WA five paws out of five.
The window ledges are wide and comfortable with a great view of trees and birds.  If you are a dog reading this and need a spot to go outside, the wooded area also looks like a nice spot for a walk.  The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows for humans and pets to sleep on.  Two beds were a great bonus for jumping on and the night stand bridge was lots of fun.  Nora liked the extra chair in the corner for a nap.  The human liked the cookies in the lobby, close by restaurants, hot tub and great breakfast.  The only disappointment was you could not climb under the bed.
And that is my report from Lacey.  See you down the road.
